Branding and portals

Branding & Theme (Admin → Portals) is where you upload the two images that carry your organization’s identity through the product chrome:

  • Company logo — replaces the wordmark in the top bar. Use a transparent PNG (or SVG/WebP with transparency); roughly 320×80px, landscape, works best. Oversized uploads are automatically scaled to fit the header.
  • App symbol — a square mark used as the browser tab icon (favicon) and app icon. Use a square transparent PNG/SVG around 128×128px.

To set either one: open Branding & Theme, choose a file for the logo or the symbol, and it takes effect immediately. Use Remove to clear an upload and fall back to the default wordmark or the app’s own favicon.

RezolveApp ships three end-user portals — the Employee Center, the Employee Portal, and the Customer Service Portal. Portals (Admin → Portals) lists all three; open one to reach every customization tool scoped to it.

Each portal’s detail page organizes its tools as tabs:

Tool What it configures
Home content The portal’s landing-page content.
Home widgets The widgets shown on the home page.
Navigation & topics The portal’s menu structure and topics.
Footer The footer shown across the portal.
Branding & theme The same logo/symbol upload described above, scoped to this view.
Catalog & request forms Opens the standalone Catalog & Request Forms editor.
Page builder Opens the Page Builder — assemble portal pages from a library of configurable widgets on a 12-column grid. Available on every portal.
Request icons / Catalog item icons Opens the icon pickers for request types and catalog items.
Guided tours Opens the Guided Tours designer — ordered coachmark steps that highlight page elements for onboarding.
Virtual Assistant Opens the Virtual Assistant designer — conversation topics with trigger phrases, scripted messages, and quick-reply options.

Some tools render inline on the portal’s detail page (home content, widgets, navigation, footer, branding); others open their existing standalone editor and bring you back when you’re done. Either way, you’re always working on the same underlying configuration — there’s no duplicate copy per portal.

Every request form an employee fills out in the Employee Center is itself editable as data: Catalog & Request Forms (Admin → UI & Forms) lets you add, remove, and reorder fields on a request form, change a field’s type, its options, whether it’s required, which table it references, and its help text.

  • Request Icons sets the icon shown next to each type of request (incident, catalog request, HR case, customer case) across the portal’s My Requests / My Cases lists.
  • Catalog Item Icons sets the icon for each catalog item; every item gets a sensible default from its name, and you can pin any item to a specific icon to override it.
  • Guided Tours and the Virtual Assistant designer let you author onboarding tours and a scripted assistant for the Employee Center without writing code.

Branding gives every portal a consistent top-bar identity; the per-portal tools then let you tailor each portal’s actual content — its home page, navigation, footer, request forms, and onboarding — independently, since the Employee Center, Employee Portal and Customer Service Portal serve different audiences.
